CAULIFLOWER TATAR TOTS Guys if I can say one thing about these tots? it’s that you won’t believe how good they are in till you give them a shot. I made them and in 5 minutes they were all gone lol. My favorite we’re the ones with the butter Parmesan sauce, Lord Jesus Christ they were delicious.
1 medium heads cauliflower, cut into florets
1/4 cup Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon smoked paprika powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 large egg
1.Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray olive oil on a nonstick baking sheet
2.Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the cauliflower florets to the water and cook them just until fork tender, 5 to 10 minutes. Thoroughly drain the florets and transfer them to a food processor. Pulse the cauliflower for a few seconds just until the it breaks down into small pieces (Should look like rice).
3.Take your cauliflower and add it to a large bowl. Stir in seasoning, cheese, egg and 1 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper, mixing until thoroughly combined.
4.Using your hands, scoop up 2-tablespoons of the mixture and mold it into a tater tot shape. Place it on the prepared baking sheet and repeat the shaping process with the remainder of the mixture, spacing Them out.
5.Spray tots on top with olive oil and Bake the tots for about 20 minutes then flip them and bake an additional 10 to 15 minutes until crisped. Remove and And serve immediately with chiptole sauce or butter Parmesan sauce and enjoy.
