Super easy and tasty honey sesame chicken
1 cup honey Chicken breast or thigh
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon ketchup
2 teaspoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons sesame oil
2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon of crushed garlic sesame seeds
Dice your chicken and coat it in a seasoned egg wash & flour.
heat oil (canola, vegetable, olive) in a pan on high/medium, fry the chicken until golden brown and crispy. (Then drain the oil)
In a seperate bowl, whisk in your honey, soy sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, cornstarch, sesame oil, apple cider vinegar, sesame seeds and garlic.
Add your sauce to your chicken in the same pot you used earlier and coat the chicken. let it sit for a minute or two with the lid on until it becomes sticky & brown.
Note: The vinegar can be substituted for rice vinegar. also the sauce is usually eyeballed so I didn’t know EXACT measurements. taste it before you add the chicken to make sure it’s to your liking (:
